The role described below lies at the core of the Global Service Management and Operations function within the emerging global IS organisation - a function that will be delivered progressively over time (next 3 years) in line with the deployment of the global systems solution.
The Security Operations Manager fulfils two distinct roles. The first, and primary function, is the operational management and ownership of all areas of IT systems, excluding SAP systems. The second aspect is the implementation and oversight of compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley IT General Computing (ITGC) Controls compliance activities pertaining to non-SAP systems. The role will liaise closely with the Group IFC IT Specialist.

Key disciplines include:

  • Coordination and governance oversight of the management testing of the ITGC Controls internal control framework
  • Providing technical guidance and consultancy advice to Internal Control Owners with the on-going remediation of ITGC controls

The Security Operations Manager will work closely with the Strategy and Architecture team to ensure ITGC compliance across the organisation and liaise with the Security Operations Manager and Regional Security Operations Managers in establishing common working practices. They will be responsible for leading the implementation of IT security operations and ensuring ITGC Controls compliance across the IS organisation globally, including internal operations and outsourced service providers. The role holder must remain familiar with global business conditions including prevailing laws, organisational culture and management style.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Degree in business administration or a technology related field, or equivalent work or education related experience
  • Extensive exposure to and an understanding of implementation of IT General Computing (ITGC) Controls within a complex IT systems environment
  • Extensive experience and proven track record in a combination of IT security and IS jobs, preferably with experience in the drinks, FMCG or manufacturing sectors
  • Knowledge of security control frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27005, COBiT, COSO and ITIL (v3)
  • Professional certification, CISM, CISA or other IT security credentials preferred
  • Proficiency with personal computers, experience with productivity software, such as Windows, Microsoft Office software and so forth essential
  • Extensive experience managing outsources model and vendor governance
  • High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exude the appropriate level of judgement and maturity
  • High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little, or no, supervision
  • Demonstrates ability to manage and lead geographically dispersed or Matrix teams to drive exceptional customer service and high performance

Capita are recruiting for a User Interface Design post, focused on the telephony aspect of a high profile programme of work within a Central Government department. Based in Newcastle this is a 3 month contract, delivering a an assisted digital channel.
Experience with CAM Light (Customer Account Management) gained within a contact centre environment is desirable.
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of on-line channels and how these work for both internal and external customers and the interaction between on-line and telephony channels.
Public Sector/Government experience will be advantageous.

Main Duties
* Ensure that the telephony user experience is consistent with the approach taken by the on-line channel.
. Attend telephony process elaboration, providing input as appropriate from a User Interface perspective
. Review products relating to the user interface/Scripting/IT Solution/staff and help ensure that they are delivered in line with the user and business requirements
. Provide input into agent scripts, telephony messaging and text message content, and quality assure related products.

. Contribute to team planning, helping integrate telephony work streams into the overall team plans; identify risks to delivery and take appropriate action to record and mitigate; provided input into reports as necessary to keep management informed of progress against plans.

Skills/Experience Required
* Experience of negotiating with and coordinating a wide range of internal stakeholders.
